Whenever your work is complete, make an offering to the spirits for their help and support. Take the offerings, the dough figure, the leaves, and everything outdoors to where it can decay naturally in nature. If you used a cloth, you may use it to carry all the material, but the cloth does not have to remain outdoors. It may be washed for reuse or hung on a tree to honor the spirits.*24
